DESCRIPTION: A woman’s journey through breast cancer and chemotherapy is often shrouded in mystery. What happens after I’m diagnosed? What toll will this take on me mentally and physically? What is Chemo really like? How can I surround myself with other inspiring women throughout this process? In Chemo Stories, Tina Zaremba seeks out those answers, and invites you to process them with her. Chemo Stories is a heartbreakingly honest, up close and personal account of a woman’s battle with breast cancer. With an endearing wit, a refreshing bluntness and a deep desire to look inside of herself, Tina gives a rare glimpse into a woman’s inner monologue throughout the process of fighting cancer. She asks herself: Can I move through this experience with strength and trust? The audience is along for the ride as she finds her answer. By telling her story, Tina hopes to normalize the breast cancer experience, sharing her fears, coping strategies, failures and wins along the way.

Tuesday Sep 29, 2020
Tuesday Sep 29, 2020
Prior to her diagnosis, Tina was literally seeing signs to get checked for breast cancer. She saw a slew of “get your mammogram” signs plastered all over the NYC subway on her morning commute. After dropping her son off at camp she saw another sign, this time on the back of an old phone booth. “Get your mammogram.”
In this episode, Tina recounts the weeks leading up to her diagnosis and living in a self-described “freakout mode,” when she would soon find out that the possibility of having cancer brings a tidal wave of fear. But once the wave recedes, it may leave behind a strange kind of freedom.
